Bunk Bed Compliance

Recommended weight capacity per sleeping surface is 225 pounds and total thickness of both mattress and
foundation combined must not exceed 6” for bunk bed models
11X, 12X, 16X, 18X, 4011, 4012, 4016, 411A & 411B
Recommended weight capacity per sleeping surface is 325 pounds and total thickness of both mattress and
foundation combined must not exceed 11” for adult bunk bed models 06X, 406B
Children under the age of 6 are NOT to be on any upper bunk of any bunk bed.
All our bunk beds require a Slat Kit, Bunkie Board or Bunkie Combo Mattress for foundation support.
Slat kits sold separately.

Pine Crafter bunk beds conform to the following federal safety standards.
*ASTM F 1427-13 "Standard Consumer Safety Specifications for Bunk Beds
*Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 1213 "Safety Standards for Entrapment Hazards in Bunk Beds.
*Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 1513 "Requirements for Bunk Beds.

LEAD TESTING
*PSA (16 CFR 1303) Total Lead in Paint and Surface Coating
*CPSA (PL 110-314, Sec. 101) Total Lead in Substrate
