→                    INTRODUCTION









            A TURBINE IS A COMPONENT OF PERFORMANCE THAT HAS AT LEAST ONE
   MOVING STRUCTURE KNOWN AS A ROTOR ASSEMBLY, WHICH IS A SHAFT OR DRUM

   WITH BLADES ATTACHED. WIND ACTS ON THE BLADES, CAUSING THEM TO MOVE
   AND GIVE ROTATIONAL ENERGY TO THE ROTOR. IN THIS EXPERIMENT DESIGN WAS
   AIDED WITH THE ENGINES CURRENT OF 12V DC WHILE LARGER VOLTAGE VALUES,
   SUCH  AS  24  VOLTS,  MAY  BE  NECESSARY  FOR  ESPECIALLY  HEAVY  ELECTRICAL
   MOTOR APPLICATIONS RATHER THAN THE USE OF 12 VOLTS HAS BEEN THE MOST
   TYPICAL  MEASUREMENT  OF  VOLTS  UTILIZED  IN  SMALLER  ELECTRIC  MOTOR
   APPLICATIONS SUCH FOR THIS DESIGN.


                WIND TURBINE BLADES ARE CONSIDERED THE MOST SIGNIFICANT
   COMPONENT OF A WIND TURBINE. THEY ARE TREATED TO HIGH PRESSURES AND
   ARE FABRICATED TO EXTREMELY TIGHT TOLERANCES. THEY MUST BE BALANCED
   AND HELD TO THESE HIGH TOLERANCES TO LIMIT ANY AMOUNT OF VIBRATION THAT
   MIGHT OTHERWISE HARM THE WIND TURBINE. ACCORDING TO THE ARTICLE WIND
   TURBINE BLADE DESIGN JOSEPH RAND THE KIDWIND, THE DESIGN TYPE (ONE-

   BLADE) WILL CATCH 10% LESS ENERGY THAN A TWO-BLADES DESIGN IN TEST
   EXPERIMENTATION. WHILE TWO NUMBERS OF BLADES WOULD CAPTURE ABOUT 5%
   LESS ENERGY THAN THE THREE-BLADE DESIGN OF A WIND TURBINE. BY THAT, THE
   THREE-BLADE DESIGN CHOOSES TO BE IN THIS DESIGN PROTOTYPE BECAUSE IT
   HAS A BALANCE OF GYROSCOPIC FORCES WHICH MEANS BALANCE WITH PROVIDING
   THE SLOWER ROTATION. SLOWER ROTATION BUT AT THE SAME TIME, IT INCREASES
   THE GEARBOX AND TRANSMISSION PROCESS. IT IS KIND OF MORE AESTHETIC AND
   FOR SURE LESS NOISE.
