ü At some workplaces these meetings should be held daily, for example, if high-risk work is being
done. Employees should be reminded to stay focussed and relevant issues should be addressed.
Real-life factual and job specific safety information tends to be more motivating for workers.
ü Be careful with vehicles-Many fatal accidents on work sites involve vehicles. Defensive driving,
parking and backing should be practised.
6. What do you feel about reporting an unsafe act / behaviour, is t right or wrong?
Reporting of unsafe act/behaviour is strongly right, it always helps us for correction / implementation &
avoid chance of incidents. It gives us to chance for correct our mistakes.
Hence, When we see a co-worker breaking a safety procedure or otherwise acting unsafely, talk to that
person in private. Approach our co-worker with kindness and understanding rather than accusations as
we request that he maintains a safe work environment for the sake of everyone.
7. How Important is the Tool Box talks?
Ø TBT promotes knowledge sharing among workers and a strong awareness of health and safety at
the workplace.
Ø Through safety talks, we can tell workers about health and safety requirements for the tools,
equipment, materials and procedures they use every day or for particular jobs.
Ø Along with improving safety at work, toolbox talks keep team members alert to possible hazards,
improve team communication, and show that the “MPW values employees' safety and wellbeing.
8. How is your concern on safe working environment, welfare activities is redressed ?
A healthy work environment is about more than being safe. A Healthy workplace is one where
employees in addition to feeling secure and enjoying a safe physical work environment; feel recognized
for the work they do. enjoy a positive social environment that encourages respect, fosters a sense of
belonging and purpose.
9. What all are the support expected from MPW-IND management to improve HSE
Ø Train employees well.

10. What is the new system / changes needed to improve the safety in the site?
Ø Establishment of our First aid centre & Safety Park/Induction Room
Ø Regular inspection of Ambulance/ Emergency vehicle at site & their conditions i.e. fitness, working
condition, cleaning
Ø Increase Few training at site i.e. First Aid Trainer/Scaffolding Inspector, defensive driving
