STEP 1: APPRAISAL
• A qualified appraiser selected by you will determine the yacht’s value.
• We do not influence the selection of the appraiser or the valuation outcome.
• Consult your trusted yacht broker for guidance on obtaining an appraisal.

STEP 2: SURVEY
• We conduct a separate survey of the yacht to identify the best fit within our donation
program options.

STEP 3: CHOOSE A PROGRAM
LEASE PROGRAM
• Objective: Maximizes value.
• Process: We invest in improvements to the yacht, then lease it under interest-free terms.
• Tax Benefit: Based on the appraised value of the yacht.
• Note: Most donated yachts are leased or sold under interest-free terms to qualified
individuals.

OUTRIGHT SALE PROGRAM
• Objective: Maximizes convenience.
• Process: We close on the vessel and promptly sell it.
• Tax Benefit: Based on the sales value of the yacht.
• Note: Lower-value vessels are typically sold outright.

STEP 4: CLOSING THE DONATION
• Once we agree to accept your yacht donation, we’ll guide you through the
documentation and complete all necessary paperwork to finalize the process.
