AMIkids is making stars where none seem to exist,
charting the horizon for the adults that will one
day run our world. My goal, far into the future, is to
provide funding for the marine program. It’s about

Bill Barrows believed deeply in the mission of AMIkids.
A devoted supporter of marine education, he created an endowment to ensure
young people could continue learning through the work he cherished. Pictured
above, his vessel—the Orlando’s Rose—still serves as a hands-on learning plat-
form, introducing students to marine science, navigation, and the importance of
protecting Florida’s waterways. Though we lost Bill earlier this year, his impact
lives on, reminding us how one gift can empower countless futures.
