BRONX LIVE RADIO is a collaboration between TWO AND A HALF MONTHS GROUP and
MAKING MEDIA SCHOOLS.

TWO AND A HALF MONTHS GROUP

Directors: Sonya Karras and Sacha Kaluri

Sonya and Sacha are business partners, best friends and mothers of two boys each.
They’re youthful, down to earth, funny, smart, sassy, a little edgy and have an innate ability
to relate to people.

They use comedy, intelligence, experience, entertainment and relatable stories to educate
people of all ages. around Australia, New York and New Zealand.

In 2001 they both began their own businesses as professional speakers focusing on the youth sector. Their topics include
safe partying, careers, drugs and alcohol, self-esteem, resilience, social media, bullying and cyber bullying, teamwork,
leadership, body image, relationships and running parent seminars. They are now considered Australia’s leading youth
experts and social commentators and travel to more than 200 schools each, per year around Australia, New York and
New Zealand.

In 2010, they created the Australian Teenage Expo – a huge youth event. The Expo encompassed a huge show seen by
more than 55,000 students and a 3000sq metre exhibition space filled with youth focused organisations. The event ran
for 6 years, travelling to every state of Australia.

The women sit on boards of charities; consulted to Government Ministers and Australian Prime Ministers, working in
partnerships with the Australian Federal Department of Education and Training and local
government agencies.

Sonya and Sacha were chosen as the Official Australian Ambassadors for the United Nations recognized International
Women’s Entrepreneurship Day hosted in New York but celebrated in more than 144 countries. They are also ambassa-
dors for the Bully Zero Australia Foundation, Footys4all Foundation and the Melbourne Homeless Collective.

2016 – “The Sonya and Sacha TV Show” was released around Australia providing parents with information and advice on
raising children. Created, produced and hosted by S & S.
2017 - Their book – “The Two Worlds of Your Teenager” is released in Australia and NZ. The book sold out twice before it
hit the stores on its first print run.
2017 – The women become columnists to Australia’s most widely read newspaper - Herald Sun and were published in
more than 100 Fairfax newspapers - in print and online.
2017 - The Sonya and Sacha Radio Show is released making it the highest rating program on Southern FM in Melbourne,
Australia. A chat style program all about laughing at life and interviewing some of Australia’s leading business people and
change makers.
2018 - Sonya and Sacha release their duel podcast with Australia’s leading podcast company - Podcast One Australia.
“The Secret Life of Teens” is a series aimed to educate parents on various family issues. “Sex, Drugs & Relationships”,
offers the same information with a target audience of teenagers.
2019 – The women take their special brand of connecting and story-telling to the USA, addressing
audiences at Youth Summits, Schools and Columbia University. Sonya and Sacha were awarded the honour of being in
the “Top 50 Business Leaders of 2019 - Australia”.
2020 – in the midst of Covid, Sonya and Sacha launch their new radio show “Sonya and Sacha For Real” on Live FM – a
global online station and in their first few weeks were able to secure in depth interviews with some of the best sporting,
acting, entertainment and comedic talents on offer here and internationally.
