AAFRO
The WFHL identified AAFRO- Australian African Foundation
For Retention and Opportunity - as a local organisation to
collaborate with in the build up to the festival.
In January 2024 The Festival For Healthy Living engaged
two of our artists to run workshops at the annual AAFRO
Family BBQ event.
Artists Richard McKimm (circus) and Will Viran (drumming)
spent the afternoon teaching and playing music and circus
with the AAFRO community.
It was a fun and fruitful afternoon, with many members of
AAFRO later visiting and participating in the Wyndham Fes-
tival For Healthy Living.
