STUDENT INTERVIEWS
This project is about your students celebrating your school, and broadcasting it to their
community and beyond, on live radio.
You are encouraged to provide at least two guests for your students to interview, who can talk
about why your school is so special.
Some suggestions might include the school principal, head of your faith program, head of
learning, a successful former student, or a teacher that leads a program that provides a point of
difference for your school.
OPTIONAL - RECORDING VOICEOVERS AND PROMOTING YOUR SHOW
If you would like to give your students the fullest and richest experience that this opportunity
provides, advice on how you can record student and teacher voiceovers is outlined in the
VOICEOVER MEDIA BRIEF available on this web page
Student and teacher voiceovers are used as intros and outros to segments, and as
school promos and stings during breaks.
Producing your own voiceovers is optional but well worth considering if you would like to unleash
the creativity and imagination in your students.
You may also have your students promote their live show and podcast widely, using the
downloadable PROMOTIONAL TEMPLATES also available for on this web page.
Thank you for accepting the invitation from LIVE FM to be involved in this event. As a former
teacher of 16 years, I can’t wait to work with you and your students to produce some compelling
radio.
