The John Fawkner College SIP program is a sports themed curriculum that is delivered in
partnership with elite sport and is designed to deliver powerful outcomes in numeracy and literacy
in an innovative way.

Hyundai A-League club, Melbourne City FC and Super 15 rugby unon team, Melbourne Rebels
deliver expert coaching as part of a player development program that is intergrated in the teach-
ing and learning program for each SIPP student.

As part of the SIPP arrangemnent the school and its students have access to the elite facilities
and services of its sporting partners. Students are provided with a unique opportunity to draw on
diverse aspects of professional sporting organisations to support and inspire their learning across
the curriculum.
