OUR NEXT-GEN CELEBRATING
SUCCESSFUL WOMEN IN OUR COMMUNITY
The BE LIKE HER LIVE radio broadcast and podcast initiative on LIVE FM, aims to have our
students identifying, celebrating, emulating, and educating others about the success traits of
women in their community, and beyond.
Children in our school community, look to adults around them to form a view about the role of
women in their lives.
Powerful, strong and successful women can be as impactful as role models to young people, as
men can be.
Only when young people grow up to recognise and respect the attributes of high achieving women
around them, will communities treat women as true equals, and traditional roles and perceptions
can be disspelled.
