PBL WEEK 2021

Congratulations! Australia’s newest radio station is launching, and you
have been selected to be part of the broadcast team that will
manage, promote and run it.

COLUMBA LIVE is a real-life radio station that will broadcast to our
community, and across Australia and the world, during
St.Columba’s College PBL Week in August 2021.

It will be airing radio shows co-hosted and produced by you, the next
gen radio stars from St.Columba’s College, Essendon.

You will work in media teams to present, produce, and promote your
radio programs, to an audience that you will grow, inform, and
entertain.

As part of your work, you will organise interviews with
representatives of PBL teams, talk to guests who are associated with
the program, conduct a roundtable discussion about the PBL
experience, and produce entertaining and informative radio shows
that people will want to listen to.

Your aim in this project is to attract a massive 2,000 radio, video and
podcast consumers across your neighbourhood and the world, and
do it by creating great radio content.

Media shapes our thoughts and attitudes, and is all around us. The
ability to access, consume, critically interpret and use it to create an
authentic narrative that will educate and inform your audience, is our
major goal.

COLUMBA LIVE is the voice of the next gen women of St.Columba’s
College, Essendon.
