THE CONCEPT

DEADLY LIVE is a live radio and podcast learning and teaching

initiative that provides both Indigenous and non-Indigenous students
in Victorian schools with the opportunity to learn about first people’s

culture and history and discover and celebrate what it means to be a

young Indigenous person in the 21st century.

Using professional hosting, interviewing, producing, production, and

marketing skills, learnt as part of the live radio program, students

will organise interviews, discussion forums, and outside broadcasts,
co-host live radio shows, edit and publish broadcast content, and

promote their live radio shows and podcasts to an audience they will

target, and attract.

The DEADLY LIVE program will culminate in an exciting and highly

anticipated, student run and managed, live broadcast event –
DEADLY LIVE WEEK 2023.
