A Message from the

Executive Producer

Hi, I’m Ralph Barba from Making Media Australia and LIVE FM.

I am a media professional and former secondary school teacher of 16 years, including 12
years as a VCE coordinator.

In 2018, I embarked on a pioneering journey to establish LIVE FM (www.livefm.online), a
global radio broadcasting platform uniquely designed to empower students within their own
school community.

LIVE FM is designed to innovatively leverage modern media to provide students with a
real-world outlet for their voices, thereby enhancing their engagement and learning
experiences.

The LIVE FM initiative is at the forefront of modern educational methodologies, promoting
the development of essential 21st-century skills such as language proficiency, information
technology, and media literacy. Beyond skill acquisition, it cultivates in students a sense of
self-belief, pride, and passion, connecting them more deeply with their communities and
peers.

It not only enriches students’ educational journey but also inspires them to explore new
horizons in media and communication.

I and the LIVE FM team are excited to share this opportunity with you and your students,
