LBMA: LBMA 2022 Strategic
Programme for PM Markets
Give us some updates what SBMA is going to do in
Asia, Give us some enlightenment; It’s the LBMA main
focus is on these standards go across various aspects
of the market. It could be physical market with good
delivery and responsible for gold and trading market
across infrastructure. And also LBMA represents the
market in facing off aginst regulation and also lot of
work that goes into interaction with the press.
So, more consultations coming out to the market for
their views. The views on four different areas will be
expelled, by contracting the market for their impact on
these. So the membership we recently changed. The
LBMA simplifies it and now it’s in line. We have also
started up subscriber, but subscribers not actually
a membership, it has access to the information and
the support from the LBMA and we are seeing lot of
traction on that side. I think india such a area that the
bar is too high to get into LBMA accreation. The one
actually started in terms of consutation is the precious
metals code. As ewe launched the number of years
ego in consultation with the Bank of England. A lot of
focus in the precious metal code is actually going to be
on the sort of ESG and responsible sourcing site.
