RE-ENTER PATRICK SCOTT. The young artist who 11et people talking first with his
pictures in the Living exhibition and later with Christmas lights ln Dublin's Grafton Street, has done it again. He has designed a poster for the Dublin International Theatre Festival in September which is sure to cause a stir. The poster, mostly in black white, but with red, green and orange tones, was last week distributed by Bord Failte, Aer Lingus and international travel agents all over the world. How many will interpret the theme? I couldn't. Can you? Designer .Scott says: ·• It shows the actor's view o( you, the audience, seen from the stage- the white blaze of the i;potlight and the coloured lights of the footlights flying up to meet it. And behind the blaze of light, blackness and mystery.'' Patrick Scott will face a world audience .again later this Spring. He has been chosen the sole artist to represent Ireland at the
Venice International Bienniale exhibition.
