Rates 2021
Rural Customers
The rural monthly minimum will increase to $50.00. This rate will include Return on Investment ($38.11) and O&M fee ($11.89). The Return on Investment amount is tied to the Consumer Price Index and adjusted annually by the North Dakota State Water Commission. Return on Investment will increase by $0.49 and the O&M Fee will increase by $0.51 for 2021.
The rural customer rate per 1,000 gallons will increase to $6.36.
Contract Customers
There will be a rate increase for demand, contract and raw customers. The demand rate will be $6.85 per 1,000 gallons of potable water. The contract customer rate will be $5.60 per 1,000 gallons of potable water. The raw water contract rate will be $4.51 per 1,000 gallons of water. The oil industry rate will remain the same at $12.00 per 1,000 gallons of water. For demand, contract and raw water customers, Return on Investment will increase $0.02, transmission and extraordinary maintenance will remain the same, and reserve will increase $0.02. For contract and demand customers, treatment will increase $0.06, and the demand charge will increase by $0.02.
