The Sonoran Team is comprised of eight players in a given match. The eight players available with the lowest handicap indexes are selected for a match. Maximum handicap allowed is 25. (This past year, handicaps ranged from 8-13 for Terravita players.)

The Cactus Team is comprised of ten players in a given match. The ten players available with the lowest handicap indexes are selected for a match. Maximum handicap allowed is 27. (This past year, handicaps ranged from 14-22 for Terravita players.)
The competition is four-ball match play. Each team plays for gross, net and overall points. Each league plays two matches a month; one home match and one away match. Participating clubs and schedules for 2020-2021 are as follows:
