NOMINATIONS FOR 2019 ELECTIONS NOW OPEN


        Members, your Nominating Committee consists of three Past Presidents, as required by the NCISS Bylaws – Dean Beers,
        Chair, Robert Heales, and Maria Landry.

        The Committee is seeking nominations for Officer and Director terms ending at the 2019 Annual Meeting / elections to
        be held on April 29, 2019. The Committee is accepting nominations and recommendations from Monday Dec 31, 2018 to
        Friday March 22, 2019.  The nominating slate will be presented to the membership on March 29, 2019. Nominations
        may be made at the Annual Meeting from the floor.

        Any member in good standing who is qualified to serve as an Officer or Director may submit their name, and position of
        interest, to the Committee. Please refer to the Bylaws for positions, qualifications, and duties - www.nciss.org/bylaws.
        All positions are expected to attend both the Annual Meeting (Spring) and Mid-Term Board Meeting (Fall) each year, and
        fulfill duties throughout the year.

        •   Officers
        Officers serve one-year terms, with nominations being accepted for the positions of:
        President, 1  Vice President, 2  Vice President, 3  Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer.  These terms will expire in

        Officers must have served at least one year on the Board or as a Committee Chair. Duties of Officers can be found in the
        Bylaws, Article VII – Duties of Officers.

        •   Directors
        Directors serve two-year terms for positions of Regional Director (six positions – up to three per election) and At Large
        Director (four positions – up to two per election). For the 2019 elections, nominations for the Director positions of:
        Region 1 (KY-IL-IN-MI-OH-PA-WV), Region 2 (CT-MA-ME-NH-NJ-NY-RI-VT), and Region 3 (DC-DE-FL-GA-MD-PR-NC-SC-
        VA), and two At Large positions. These terms will expire in 2021.

        A regional director need not reside in a state in the region of his or her responsibility. Duties of Directors can be found in
        the Bylaws, Article VIII – 8.02 (a). Please review these duties in advance of any nominations.
