ROCKNATION ISSUE 22

Please tell us a few words about each of your songs.
“To Kill A Saint” is the opening track and it was made to be the opening
track. It’s fast and aggressive with a killer solo and all that stuff. Lyrically it’s
a tribute to that old 60’s-70’s spy TV show, “the Saint” with Roger Moore as
Simon Templar. It’s going about a full episode of that show, named after it.
“Speak To Me” is a song about asking yourself what you want to do with
your life and the choices you make. It’s a cool song with a great catchy
melody and a great guitar riff.
“Who You Are” is following the same pattern of thought, speaking about
who one really is and how one is dealing with his inner demons. One of the
highlights of the album, a great song with a cool chorus and great guitar
                               work.
“Call My Name” is the quintessential, somehow “silly” relationship song of any album out there. It’s
melodic, fast with a nice chorus that sticks and it’s about someone trying to get the girl of his dreams.
“Dia De Los Muertos” is a song about loss and hope. It’s about a parent that has lost his little girl and is hoping of seeing here
again through the setting of the Latin Catholic Day Of the Dead, a celebration that takes place every year in Mexico and the
other latin american countries, a communication ritual with the souls of your loved ones that have passed away. Its a very
emotional song but it is also very strong, with a clean cut guitar riff and amazing vocal melodies. Another highlight.
“Devil’s Waltz” is another relationship song, more serious than “Call My Name”, more “radio friendly” and another great vocal
performance for BJ. It’s about things we do to our partners in life that we come to regret later.
“All the King’s Horses” is really an epic. It’s a style of songwriting we have never touched before. It’s a very full track, a full
orchestra behind it, the whole shebang , a great narrative about a hero that takes the task to save his
home town from an evil that corrupts it and destroys it. It’s a song that can be placed in any time
setting from a medieval to a post apocalyptic setting. It’s a very special song that came out of
nowhere, a very nice story of heroes and villains and the determination to do what you have to do
even if you’re doomed to fail.
“Dead In The Water” is a powerhouse of a song, very modern and very melodic yet heavy and strong
and weighs a hundred tons. It’a a song about dealing with the consequences of your past actions and
dealing with a desperate situation where you find yourself “dead in the water”. It has a strong groove
and some amazing vocal performances by BJ and our home girl Mina “Trib” Giannopoulou, an
    amazing vocal talent.
“How About Right Now” is another modern heavy rock track, with a special keyboard arrangement by
George, a catchy groove that makes you want to hop around, fast and melodic very European, Melodic
Power Pop sort of thing but heavy in its core.
“Best Of Me” is a shout to friends we’ve lost over the years to drugs and alcohol. It’s a very heavy
thing, almost too heavy from what you’d expect from Danger Angel and has a strong Linkin’ Park
influence. We were lucky to have a friend MC Dope jump on board for this, it’s all too different for us and experimental, we can’t
wait to see how the fans will react to this one.
“Will You Follow” was written and released in video in 2014 as an introduction of BJ to the fans. We needed something more
than an announcement so we made this. It’s a song closer to the “Revolutia” style of songs, and it talks about the everyday
struggle of people in Greece and urging people to do something with their lives, make a movement, change things.
“Hollow Men” is a very modern thing drawing inspiration from the Doctor Who TV series and the episode “The Whisper Men”
aired sometime during 2014 I think. It’s a kind of a horror story which will be best explained by the video that will come out
based on it. A very special video and take my word for it.

I see a new video on facebook “Will You Follow” how did that video come together and what is it about?
As I said above, this song was an introduction of BJ to the fans, We felt we needed more than a press release to announce him,
so while he was on tour with Jeff Scott Soto and right before the Talisman show in Sweden Rock last year, he flew over, and we
recorded this song and shot the video for it. It’s a fast, angry song about what’s happening in Greece and the rest of the world
with all this social unrest that’s going on. It was supposed to stay as a video in our web pages but the
fans loved it and the press praised it and we like it too much so we will include it in the album after all,
however we are tweaking the production to match the rest of the songs and
the album version will be quite different as far as how it sounds.

Thank you for taking time for this interview and last words to the fans?
Thank you for having us! For everyone reading this, look out for Danger
Angel in 2016, we’re coming out with a great album and we’re coming out
with a killer new show that you won’t want to miss!
