Hello Xtasy and welcome to Rocknation. How long
has the band been together and how did you form the
band?
Hi everybody!! Xtasy was born as a studio project between
Silvia and me (Jorge) some years ago. We started to work
in several songs and we recorded the first album both
together playing all the instruments and some guest on
drums. After our first album was recorded, we decided to
create the band. That means that we´ve been on the scene
for about 3 years.

Congrats to your new release “Second Chance”. Please name some of the tracks and the story behind them.
Thank you! Well, we tried not to focus just in love theme lyrics during the writing so we let our inspiration fly, opened up all of our senses
and saw that there were so many themes we would like to express about. That is how lyrics and song came up. “Children of war” (Fallen
angels), personal growth (One in a million), addictions (Under the gun), mistreatment (Open your eyes), the hardness of the exile (Broken
heart), Rock n´ Roll (Speed of light), etc... are some of the themes we have talked about in this album. Silvia is the one who write most of
the lyrics in the band.

If you had to tell someone what your music sounded like, what bands would you mention?
Well, this is a difficult question because we have so much different influences, but I think the fans of Eclipse, H.E.A.T., Gotthard,
Whitesnake and Bon Jovi will love our music.

Your previous debut album release was “Revolution” in 2014. How do you compare it to your new release, what has changed?
First of all, now we are a real and complete band and for that reason in this album “Second chance” all the members we have worked as a
team. We have all been involved in all of the songs. In addition, with this new album we wanted to enhance the sound of the guitars, give
them more presence on the songs and leave the keyboards just a bit more on the background. We also worked on faster tempos to give
more energy and punch to the songs. We are really happy with the result.

What bands have you appeared with in concert?
With our first album Revolution we did a long Tour with 25 shows all over Spain and we had the chance to play as support band for many
bands like Dare, Helix, Tigertailz, Crazy Lixx or Spanish legends Barón Rojo. Three of the best Gigs were as special guest of Eclipse in a
Tour called Hard Rock Attack, where the Swedish band Toxic Rose opened the shows and it was a blast!. We also did 2 acoustic shows this
year as guest of Erik Grönwall and Dave Dalone of H.E.A.T. Amazing musicians and really nice guys.

What plans do you have for 2017?
Touring as much as possible in 2017 and 2018. We have done a 7
Date Tour in Spain as headliners and we have some more shows in
Spain after the summer. We are also working on a European tour next
year and we would love to have the chance to play in Japan. During
the summer we also want to start working in new songs as well, but
there will be not a new album until 2019.
