Your band has 3 members I hear some keyboards in your music. Please tell us about who
played the parts on your tracks. And will you have a keyboard player when your band
plays in concert?
Keyboards in our songs are played by a friend of ours, Luca Di Gennaro, Soul Secret’s keyboard
player. He was rather glad to play with us, but we don’t plan to use keyboards in live shows, so
we’ve tried to don’t add too much of that in the album. We’ve always been a trio, so in live shows
the tracks we play are very much alike how they’re recorded in the album.
Please tell us about your “Walking Dead” video. What is the story behind that video and
song?
Both the lyrics and video of “The Walking Dead” are inspired to the war in Ukraine. The reasons
we wrote about it is because it’s a war in the middle of Europe and I also have several friends
from both Ukraine and Russia. We recorded the video in an abandoned, crumbling school
because we wanted to recreate the setting of a building damaged by the war and we thought that
wearing army clothes would have been a good way to highlight so.
What other bands have you appeared with in concert?
We never really had concerts outside of our country, but we’ve played with many other important and historical Italian bands such as Vanadium and Strana
Officina; we also played with Sacrum, a famous Argentinean band.
If you had to tell someone what your music sounded like, what bands would you mention?
We consider ourselves an Hard Rock band inspired by the ‘70s music, but obviously we try to stick with the current new sound as well; we’d say our band
sounds like Rush, Led Zeppellin and The Whinery Dogs.
What bands have the biggest influence for song writing for your music?
Certainly we’re inspired to the bands we’ve mentioned, but other bands and musicians who have a big influence on us are Kiss, Richie Kotzen and Glenn
Hughes.
What plans do you have for 2017?
We’re waiting for our album to come out to begin playing live concerts, we are and will be having radio interviews to show off our album and we’re already
working on our second official video for the track “Take Me Away”. At the moment we’re also writing new songs for a future project.
Thank you for taking time for this interview any last words to the fans?
We’d like to thank everyone who follows us, we hope you guys support us by buying our album: we’ve worked very hard and with pleasure to
produce it and we have to say we’re very happy of the results. We’d also really appreciate if you could follow us on our Facebook page “The Steel-Wizard”,
we’re always glad to see our fans’ support.
