Hello 3D In Your Face and welcome to Rocknation. Congrats to your
latest release of the “Lost In The Volume” CD. Please tell us about a few
tracks from this release.
Sam Spade – Hello Rocknation. Thank you for the kind words. Our latest
album “Lost in The Volume” is the 5th studio album from 3D In Your Face.
With this album we never set out to have a theme or direction we simply
wanted to put out a great rock n roll album. In the end the songs that make
up “Lost in The Volume” are all loosely based around our love for old school
classic rock FM radio. We all grew up listening to the radio in our parent’s
basement or in our bedroom and some nights, as if by magic the DJ’s would
know exactly what songs you needed to here at that exact time. The first
single and lyric video is for a song called “Static Renegade”. This song is about living pushing the envelope, expressing yourself without fear of being
ridiculed, and living your life on your own terms. 3D In Your Face is unique in that we mix our love of punk rock and hair metal together to create
something uniquely ours. The second single and music video is for a song called “Baptized by the Radio”. This song is about growing up in a small town
with nothing but a great rock n roll radio station, a good bunch of friends, and an overwhelming urge to make something of yourself.

What can fans expect to hear compared to your previous CD releases?
With our 2013 release “Midnight Devils” we created a raw guitar driven dirty rock n roll record with big catchy choruses. We knew we didn’t want to stray
too far away from that blueprint. We enlisted our live sound engineer Troy Way to produce, mix, and master the record to give it that “live” feel. “Lost in
the Volume” shows us growing as artists and songwriters. We all come from the school of KISS and Van Halen. Make the hook unforgettable and beat it
into their brains.

What has been the reaction for fans and press to “Lost In The Volume” so far?
The reaction has been unbelievably positive especially with the single “Baptized by the Radio”. It’s a six minute song but we play it every night and the
crowd eats it up. Another song that has been getting a lot of love is an Elvis Presley style boogie woogie song called “Memphis Mile”. These two are
instant crowd pleasers and have been a staple in our set list since the release of the album. The idea was to mix rockabilly and glam rock together. It’s
unique and nobody has really capitalized on it until now.

If you had to tell someone what your music sounded like, what bands would you mention?
There is so many and with 3D In Your Face we all come from a different musical background with the same roots. We all grew up listening to Elvis,
Chuck Berry, and Jerry Lee Lewis. I splintered off into KISS, The New York Dolls, and Twisted Sister. Our guitar player and my songwriting partner
Chris Hineline is an Eddie Van Halen guy. He’s a guitar aficionado. He’s into The Who, Randy Rhoads, and a lot of the old blues players. Alan the
singer comes from a more classical background but he brings that grand Whitesnake/Coverdale vibe to our music. Finally our drummer Jimmy Mess is
a straight up glam slam punk rocker. He brings in elements central to The Ramones, The Misfits, Heart Throb Mob, and The Peppermint Creeps. All put
together it’s like painting a big mural with a bunch of different colors.

Your band played Rocklahoma, please tell us about that.
Rocklahoma has been some of the greatest moments in our careers. We’ve now gone two years in a row and it becomes like a big rock n roll summer
camp for 4 days. You get to meet and hang out with guys that you only see once a year because we are all from different parts of the world. It brings
fans and bands together in a giant field in the middle of Oklahoma for one big celebration. It’s massive. It’s the big time. Everyone travels 100’s, if not
1,000’s of miles to play in front of 2,000 rabid die hard rock n roll fans. Our stage is known for having the best of the best up and coming independent
rock bands in the world. This year we were bumped up from the 3rd stage to the 2nd stage and opened the entire festival on the last day. It was the
biggest dream come true for all of us. Our drummer left us in the middle of our tour down to Rocklahoma. After finding and acquiring Jimmy Mess and
all the trouble and heartbreak we made it to the festival, tore the place up and had the time of our lives for 4 days straight. Rocklahoma is exposure on a
worldwide level for bands and fans alike and we are thrilled to be a part of such an amazing event.

What bands have you played with in concert?
3D In Your Face has been going strong for the past 18 years and in that time we have opened for
so many amazing bands. Skid Row, Lita Ford, Great White, Faster Pussycat, Jackyl, Warrant, Bang
Tango, Dokken, Firehouse and Vince Neil just to name a few. It’s a great feeling to be able to share the
stage with your heroes and tell them thank you for all the great songs.

What plans do you have for 2017?
2017 will see the continuation of our “Lost in the Volume” Tour with our 6th studio album in the works
for 2018. Sniper, Jimmy Mess, and I have started a band called The Midnight Devils that dives further
into our love for rockabilly and glam rock. We have been touring the Midwest United States very
heavily the last year and will be sitting down to record our debut album in late 2017. Shows, shows,
and more shows. The idea is to keep pushing it as hard and for as long as we can. We are a dirty
rock n roll band and we thrive out on the road with the people.

Thank you for taking time for this interview and last words to the fans?
Thank you very much for talking with me. We can’t wait to see all of our fans on the road. 3D In Your
Face has always been %100 about the fans. Rock n Roll is still alive kicking ass and taking names all
around the world. Get out to a show, support your artists, be unique, be an individual. Don’t let anyone
hold you back from doing achieving your dreams. Create, create, create. Do what makes you happy
and at the end of the day hold your head up high. Stay focused on the positive and good things will
follow.
