“MY FIRST JUVE GOAL IS DEFINITELY GONNA BE FROM A BALL OVER THE TOP FROM LOCATELLI.”
SETTLING IN WELL
It’s still early, but Timmo is already finding his feet at Juve and he’s had a lot of help from some teammates, also making it clear that he is keen to learn Italian and more about the culture in Turin and Italy, beyond the love for pasta that he already has.
“Weston McKennie is my guy. He’s crazy. But I realised that all the staff and players here are extremely nice so I felt welcome from the first day.
“Having Weston here helps because he speaks English and that’s my guy with the national team. But the guys like Moise [Kean] and the French guys make it easier.
“If I have to pick a favourite teammate already it’s Weston because I’ve known him for years and we have super close relationship, but also Moise and Federico Gatti. I like Fede, he’s very genuine and I play right beside him. He’s always willing to help me and when you move to a new club it’s always a beautiful thing to have that in a teammate.”
LINKING UP WITH LOCA
Despite not having been around for long, Timmo is already working up a connection with Manuel Locatelli on the training field.
“My first Juve goal is definitely gonna be from a ball over the top from Loca. He’s always pinging me in behind so I already know that I’m gonna make that run and he’s gonna play me. He just has that Italian class on the ball.”
