    KATIE STENGEL (LIVERPOOL/USA)
Led Liverpool in scoring during league play last season with nine goals, helping the side stave off relegation. Although Stengel went on loan for Gotham FC this offseason, she is expected to
be back at Anfield/Prenton Park this season. In
VANESSA GILLES
addition to her work with Liverpool, she won the Frauen Bundesliga with Bayern Munich back in 2014-2015.
KORBIN ALBERT (PARIS ST. GERMAIN/USA)
Albert jumped onto the scene last season for PSG, making six appearances for the French giants.
The former Hermann Trophy (for those outside of the U.S. this is the equivalent of the Ballon D’Or in college soccer) finalist at the University of Notre Dame has worked her way into the midfield at PSG and at 19 should start receiving a look from the USWNT as they start their rebuild.
Played a pivotal role in keeping Brighton in the first division last season, making 10 appearances after coming over in January. The Pepperdine graduate has previous English top flight experience playing with West Ham United in 2018-2019 and has made three appearances with the United States under-23 National Team last year.
VANESSA GILLES (LYON/CANADA)
Anchored a Lyon backline that allowed just 9 goals last season in Division 1 Feminine play and won their 16th league title overall. Although she is 27, she still is just cracking into a Canadian backline that is one of the deepest in women’s football. Gilles just recently signed an extension on her loan with Lyon from Angel City so another strong run
in France might be just what she needs to break through.
