Christian Pulisic (Sept. 18, AC Milan, USA)
Dubbed Captain America, Christian Pulisic is celebrated for his dribbling skills and speed. The winger joined Chelsea in January 2019 for $73M, becoming the priciest North American player ever. Aged 21, he became Chelsea’s youngest hat-trick scorer. In 2020, he became the first American to net in an FA Cup Final. He equaled Messi’s fouls record in a 2021 Champions League match and won the 2020-21 UEFA Champions League, being the youngest Chelsea player in semis and the first American in a final. He secured the 2021 UEFA Super Cup and the 2021 FIFA Club World Cup with Chelsea.
Katie McCabe (Sept. 21, Arsenal, Northern Ireland)
As a teenager, Katie McCabe won the Irish Women’s National League title twice and the FAI Women’s Cup three times with Raheny United before signing with Arsenal in 2015. With Arsenal, she has since won the Women’s FA Cup in 2016, the 2018–19 FA WSL league title, and was named to the PFA Team of the Year for 2021. After earning her first Ireland cap in 2015, she was named the country’s captain in 2017, the youngest captain in the history of the team.
Ronaldo Luis Nazario de Lima (Sept. 22, AC Milan, Real Madrid, Inter Milan, Barcelona, Brazil) Nicknamed O Fenômeno (‘The Phenomenon’) and R9, he is considered one of the greatest players of all time. As a multi-functional striker who brought
a new dimension to the position, Ronaldo has been an influential figure for a generation of strikers that have followed. His individual accolades include being named FIFA World Player of the Year three times and winning two Ballon d’Or awards. The striker won the Golden Boot in the 2002 World Cup for scoring eight goals in the tournament, including a brace in the final against Germany.
Alisson Becker (Oct. 02, Liverpool, Brazil)
Seen as one of the best goalkeepers in the world, Alisson Becker signed for Roma in July 2016 and was awarded Serie A Goalkeeper of the Year in 2017–18. In July 2018, Liverpool signed Alisson
for a fee of £66.8 million, making him the most expensive goalkeeper of all time. At Liverpool, Alisson has won the Premier League, FA Cup, EFL Cup, UEFA Champions League and FIFA Club World Cup. In 2019, he was named The Best FIFA Goalkeeper and was also the recipient of the inaugural Yashin Trophy.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Oct. 03, AC Milan, PSG, Inter Milan, Juventus, Ajax, Barcelona, Manchester United, LA Galaxy, Sweden)
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is renowned for his acrobatic strikes and volleys, powerful long-range shots, and excellent technique and ball control. He is regarded as one of the greatest strikers of all time and is
one of the most decorated footballers in the world, having won 34 trophies in his career. He has scored over 570 career goals, including more than 500 club goals, and has scored in each of the last four decades. Ibrahimovic is Sweden’s all-time leading goalscorer with 62 goals. He represented Sweden at the 2002 and 2006 FIFA World Cups, as well as the 2004, 2008, 2012, and 2016 UEFA European Championships.
Stephanie Labbe (Oct. 10, KIF Örebro, Washington Spirit, North Carolina Courage, Canada)
Stephanie Lynn Marie Labbe is a Canadian retired professional soccer goalkeeper. She won a bronze medal with Canada at the 2016 Rio Olympics, the NWSL Championship with the Courage in 2019, and a gold medal with Canada at the 2020 Summer Olympics. In the 2020 Olympics, she posted a clean sheet against Brazil in the quarterfinals and another against the United States in the semi- finals. On August 6, 2021, she backstopped Canada to a gold medal, defeating Sweden in a penalty shootout.
