PPE
Protective masks CE certified - disposable The "masks" are defined
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and are used to filter
pathogens (viruses, bacteria and dust) from the air we breathe.
The greater the filtering factor, the greater the protection from
pathogens, but also the greater the difficulty in inhaling.
(FFP stands for Filternig Face Pier, which indicate the filtering
capacity.
PPE is classified into levels:
DPI FFP1 -> filter at least 80% of it
DPI FFP2 - KN95 Protective mask Filter 95% CE certified
DPI FFP3 -> filter at least 99% of it
The main difference between the 3 levels is in the filtering power of
particles larger than 0.6 microns: (1 micron equals one thousandth of
a millimeter!)
the European standard FFP2 is equivalent to the following
standards:KN95 (China GB2626-2006)
N95 (United States NIOSH-42CFR84)
P2 (Australia / New Zealand AS / NZA 1716: 2012
