              Shoot for the goal





             This  soccer season was a rebuilding year
             with  only  a  few  returning  players.  Being
             comprised  of  so  many  new  players,  daily
             practice  was  mostly  focused  on   skill
             building  drills  for  the  new  players  and
             polishing  the  skills  and  techniques  of  the
             returners. With the majority of team being
             new, this  allowed the team to remain humble
             throughout the season and focus on helping

             each  other  to  become  better  players.  This
             teamwork   created  an  unshakable  bond
             between  the  girls,  making  them  a   super
             strong team. Having such a close  team, the
             girls had  many memorable moments. One

              of  the  highlights   of  the  season  was  their
              game  against  Zama,  where  they  beat  the
              Trojans on their own pitch  in the pouring
     TRIM LINE   TRIM LINE  which  helped  make   this  year  a  very                                                            TRIM LINE   TRIM LINE
              rain.  They  had  many  outstanding  players


              successful season. In the post season PAC
              EAST tournament,  Hailey Riddles, Keiya
              Carlson  and Lucy Wellons   brought home
              the "All Tournament"  medals with the help
              and support of their team mates.

              "My  favorite  part  or  the  season  was
              playing PAC EAST and proving YHS is a
