                          The Canadian International School
Parents’ Association (CISPA) is run by
                          dedicated parents who volunteer their
time and skills to champion its three C’s
                          mission: Community, Communication,
                          and Curriculum support.

CISPA works directly with administrative staff, teachers,
parents, and students to help foster collaboration and
build community. All parents or guardians of CDNIS
students are automatically CISPA members, and
participation in CISPA is always welcome.

During the pandemic, the Family Fun Fair and the Lunar
New Year Fair could not be celebrated, but the CDNIS
community came together in many other ways, online and
          in person.

Thanks to the many volunteers that donated their time,
used uniforms and used books, CISPA’s used uniform and
book sale took place right outside the LLAC, to cater to the Customer is allowed to have objects outside of the margin.

CDNIS families donated over $4,400 and more than 50
large boxes of essential items to Home of Love, a much
needed boost for those less fortunate in our community.

the CISPA used books bin for the Bear House Book
Donation Drive to collect English books for low income
children in Hong Kong. ReBooked supported the drive with
200 additional books, and CISPA another 400. It was
          teamwork at its best!

The CDNIS community stayed connected even during the
pandemic, with monthly Book Club events online and small
hiking events to keep up spirits. CISPA sponsored prizes
and gifts for 500 participants of the annual SDG Summit
hosted by the CDNIS Global Goals Council. CISPA
volunteers handwrote 300 personalized notes for the
Christmas Staff Appreciation event, thanking every staff
member for their special role in our community. CDNIS
families also remembered the cleaning and security staff.
Parents raised close to $25,000 for Lunar New Year Red
Packets to be divided among those that worked tirelessly
around the clock while we were safe at home.

The CISPA board of directors would like to thank all of the
volunteers and participants who kept us connected
          throughout the 2021-2022 school year.
