Amidst the crowd, I feel alone
A sea of faces, but none I’ve known
I long for company, for someone to hold
Yet, in my heart, a story untold
Tears that fall, a heart that weeps
In this void, my spirit sleeps
A longing for company, so deep
Loneliness, my heart it keeps
Through the darkness, I search for light
A glimmer of hope, to end this plight
Until then, I’ll brave the night
Loneliness, my faithful fight
