R1 1. A piece of beaded material, about 0.08 by 0-04my embroidered with small black and white glass beads. It was probably originally of velvet, although the pile is no longer there, and was presumably from a lady’s dress, or similar garment (74 K 25; Site F, -13.8/ -3.4).
R12. A coil of platted rope, arranged in a ‘Flemish coil’, and probably for use when
furling a sail (74 K 28; Site F, -13.0/-3.4)
(Fig. 35).
R14. A lump of knitted woollen material,
something like stocking yarn (74 K 39, Site
F, - 12-9/-3-7).
R16. A couple of grape pips (74 K 60; Site F,
- 14*0/-4*5).
R17. Ten plum or prune stones (Site F).
R19. A scrap of paper, about 0.08 by 0.04 m,
found under a heavily tarred organic level
(76 K 88; Site G, -9.210.5) (Fig. 7).
R21. A hank of thin rope, 0.30 by 0.05 by 0.05
m overall (76 K 129; Site G, -12-8/0-7).
