Since the end of the 18th Century, the family of the Comtes Lafond had the largest and
most famous vineyards of Pouilly-Fumé. Baron Patrick de Ladoucette, the great grandson of Les Comtes
Lafond, has continued a tradition of high quality and produces the great white wines of Ladoucette.
Domaine de Ladoucette is a world reference of Sauvignon Blanc.
Pouilly-Fumé
100% Sauvignon Blanc
Fermentation - In stainless steel vats thermostatically
regulated to 18°C for 6 to 8 weeks.
Maturing: On lees for 3 to 6 months with regular
agitation. The wine is never placed in wooden barrels
to preserve the natural aromas of the grapes.
Purely by gravity without pumps after
maturing on lees and tasting.
Tasting note – A pale, brilliant gold with golden highlights.
The nose is complex dominated by very ripe fruit and
the minerality from the limestone pebbles. Beautiful
floral notes of white flowers, followed by citrus fruit
but also white fruit (peaches). One finds the suave
roundness of white fruit accompanied by beautiful
tangy notes. The structure is rich, developing a
remarkable volume, very fatty, the vivacity offers a
lovely equilibrium and an extremely elegant finesse.
- Superb accompaniment to grilled
Pouilly-Fumé Vineyards or roasted shellfish, scallops etc.
A benchmark of its category for quality
