settings. Each setting offers a spatial
recipe that considers the optimal
arrangement of surroundings,
furnishings, and tools to best support
the activities of individuals and groups
in ways that are fundamental to all
human beings. A descriptive rather
than prescriptive approach allows for
the settings to be realized by different
customers in ways that best express
their unique purpose, character,
and activities, and progress their
