Hugh M. Gloster Society Celebration
The Hugh M. Gloster Society Celebration is the signature advancement event for MSM and critical in supporting
scholarships at our institution. In 2022, the event held even greater significance, as the institution celebrated
the establishment of its first comprehensive campaign, IMPACT: The World Needs What We do Best. In addition
to raising scholarship dollars, the event also recognizes its top supporters with awards, The Vanguard and
Health Equity Impact Awards.
Scholarship Support
• Since 2015, the Gloster Celebration has raised over $9 million in student scholarship support, benefiting
hundreds of students. The last three Gloster Society Celebrations have been the most successful fundraising
events, raising $3.4 million in 2022, $2.17 million in 2019 and $1.32 in 2018.
• Gifts through the Gloster Celebration have an important impact on our mission, as proceeds from the event
support scholarships. In other words, they directly support our most valuable asset, our students. Since a
large percentage of our student population come from challenging socioeconomic backgrounds, the IMPACT
of scholarship support can be life-altering for our students.
