Women THE POWER OF
With Partnership
Heart
Women’s Healthy Heart Week was established by Women With Heart (WWH), a volunteer support organization
of Morehouse School of Medicine dedicated to raising student scholarship funds, promoting healthy lifestyles,
and increasing community awareness about heart health and cardiovascular disease. Established in 2009 by
former First Lady Eilene Maupin, WWH helps to advance the mission of MSM to improve the health and well-being
of individuals and communities with an emphasis on underserved populations throughout Greater Atlanta and
the state of Georgia. The Women With Heart program has awarded $1.25 million in scholarship support over the
years to more than 120 MSM students.
