• First, start by washing your asparagus in cold water and pat dry them with a paper towel. • 17 asparagus.
• Cut the ends of your asparagus ( this will be the white ends, so wherever it starts, cut that end off of each of them. ) • 2 tbsp butter.
• Smash and mince your four garlic cloves.
• 1 tbsp green seasoning/sofrito. ( optional )
• Grab your skillet for sautéing and add 1 tbsp butter, let that melt, then add 2 tbsp green seasoning/sofrito ( optional.
• Four minced garlic cloves / 1/2 tbsp minced garlic.
Adding sofrito will give the taste if you had marinated peppers, onions, garlic, etc. ) and mix.
• Add your asparagus to your pan, then add your minced garlic right on top and place a lid on top for 5 minutes. • 1/2 tsp of drizzled honey.
• Once your 5 minutes is up, drizzle over 1/2 tbsp of honey over your asparagus and squeeze your lemon slice to top it • 1 slice of freshly squeezed lemon.
