           • First, begin to clean your shrimp; you want to devein both sides with a knife or fork, splitting directly down the mid-

           • Prep your vegetables for later. Start by slicing 1/4 of your white onion vertically, then dicing horizontally into small

           • Smash and mince your four garlic cloves finely.


           • You want to add carrots, shred 1/4 cup of the carrot.

           • Chop up 1/2 cup ( 2 green onion sprigs ) of your green onions into thin slices.

           • Begin to wash your 2 cups of rice, put cold water over your rice, and stir and drain; repeat this step 4 - 6 times till the

              water is clear. Pick out any burnt brown pieces of rice or anything you may see in the rice.                                                                                          • 1 tbsp mirin.


           • Grab your pot for rice. The best pot to use is a slightly wide-set pot, so the rice has room for you to turn if you are a                                                              • 2 tsp rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar.

           • After you finish your rice, you want to grab your medium-sized pan and add 1 tbsp of oil on medium heat. Once your


              pan heats up, add your shrimp. Cook on each side for 1 - 2 minutes till the shrimp is pink. Set aside to cool. You al-

              ways want to cook your shrimp last so it can be nice and hot.


           • Prep your pineapple float. Scoop as much rice that can fit or as much as you prefer, and put it inside your pineapple,

              then top it off with your shrimp, as shown in the photo. Top it off with your Yum Yum sauce if you like and enjoy it!
