This year’s school trip is a fi ve-day stay on The Isle of Wight. We will travel across to

the island on a hovercraft and stay in a small hotel in the south of the island. There are
a lot of things to see so we will make several trips to the centre and to the north. The
town of Cowes is in the north and you can watch the yachts racing there. We will also
visit Osborne House where Queen Victoria lived and Marconi’s old radio station, the
fi rst in the world. We will come back by ferry on Saturday. Older students might want
to stay on the island and go to the Isle of Wight music festival on Saturday evening but
we will need your parents’ permission if you want to do this!
The trip will cost about £300. Come and see Mr Reed if you have any questions.
