Story Line Created
In 2092, there is an unexpected spike in the rate of global warming causing the sea level
to rise immensely. This unexplainable phenomenon caused all the ice caps on the m
ountains and island of Greenland to melt, sea level would rise about 7 meters and
this rise would ood most of Jamaica’s coastal communities.

Design Intent
Tri-Green Rise is a 40 storey high rise that supports and enhances human interaction creating
social connectivity of people of different cultures emphasizing that of the Jamaican people.
This connectivity of people extends to that of plants and animals as the design proposal acts
as an “ecosystem” in a sense as it creates an intricate network between humans, marine life
and plants. This dynamic interplay between them sees sustainable design responses such
as: the generation of clean energy, grey water recycling, hydroponics, aquaponics and
