Our Story
Bamert Seed Company was established in 1951 in Muleshoe, Texas. With practice, care, and determination the company is now a leading reclamation and conservation partner. Over the past 60 years Bamert Seed Company has supplied over 100,000 acres of right-of-way, pad site, and pipeline reclamation. As an industry leader, Bamert Seed Company provides seed and consultations to landowners and land managers for reclamation, restoration, conservation, and wildlife enhancements. Our arid climate and supplemental irrigation provides excellent growing conditions to produce the highest quality native seed on the market.
Bamert Seed Company’s dedication to providing the best has allowed us to offer over 400 species of high quality native grasses, forbs, and legumes. Many of our native grasses,
forbs, and legumes have been selected from regional USDA Plant Material Centers for their soil and climate adaption characteristics. Our seed has a wide variety of uses including reclamation, conservation programs, prairie
restoration (local ecotypes available upon request), wildlife habitat, wildlife food plots, DOT projects and more recently biofuels. Around 90% of the seed we sell is produced with pride on our farms. That is why we have great confidence in our product, processes, and people.
