Let’s take a look at common lan- guage used in the world of Young Living.
Watch the video & take a look at the graphics to go along with it: http://www.youinfuse.com/videos/ lets-talk-terminology
ENROLLER & SPONSOR
Enroller: The distributor who enrolls a new member in YL. They are the ones who receive the kit bonus and fast start bonuses. Even if you change the sponsor of a member, as long as you stay the enroller, you keep the bonuses.
Sponsor: This is the person you place someone under to build their team. If you are the sponsor, the new mem- ber will be on your level one. The sponsor does NOT make the kit bo- nuses and fast start bonuses UNLESS they are also the enroller. Ex: I sell a kit to Jane, I am automatically her en- roller and sponsor. If I were to “stack”
Jane, I would remain her enroller, but the person I stacked her under (Jor- dan) would be her new sponsor.
*Note: you have FIVE days to restruc- ture your downline and move (change sponsorship) a new member over
the phone or via live help. You have TWENTY days to move someone via email. To make changes via email, you send your email to: resolutions@ youngliving.com from your email that is on le with Young Living. More on restructuring your downline, or “stack- ing” in post 6.
WHOLESALE MEMBER & RETAIL CUSTOMER
Wholesale Member: A wholesale member is someone who enrolled with a YL starter kit and chose the wholesale member status at enroll- ment. This membership requires
the new member to give their social security number. (This is so they can receive a paycheck if someone orders
from them.) They are now able to pur- chase at wholesale pricing. To main- tain this account they must spend 50pv in a calendar year. A wholesale member quali es to work the “biz” end of Young Living if they choose.
Wholesale Price: The price paid for products by Distributors — 24% below the retail price paid by Cus- tomers.
Retail Customer: A customer is a person who chooses to enroll as retail at the time of their enrollment. This person will pay retail prices, and can- not participate in the “business” end of Young Living. If a person would like to switch to a wholesale account, they may do so. They just have to contact YL and give them their social security number.
LEGS & LEVELS
Legs: A leg is someone on your level one and everyone under them. Ex: You have two people on your level one, then you have two legs, or if you have four people on your level one then you have four legs.
Levels: When a new person is en- rolled in Young Living, he or she is sponsored under a Distributor and is considered “First Level” to that Dis- tributor. Someone placed under that person would be the original Distrib- utor’s Second Level, and so on. Legs go down, levels go across.
PV, OGV, PGV
PV: Personal Volume – everything that you purchase personally each month
OGV: Organizational Group Vol- ume – everyone underneath you + yourself
PGV: Personal Group Volume – Only need to worry about this when you hit Silver or Above! Everyone outside of your qualifying legs
