COMPETITION PROJECT SHIJIE DE BU WANMEI
The design idea departs from a space imperfection and is indirectly contained in the Chinese philosophy of “yin & yang”. Imperfection
place has had 2 contradictory elements that cannot be separated. The contradictory element is supported by several other supporting
factors so that it becomes a complex form. Then the form is presented through the form of a pavilion which has two sides and a half shape
but still complements each other. The innovation is applied with the beauty of the bamboo structure.
The main focus of the design is to highlight the user experience and functionality of the pavilion. The pavilion not only functions as a
regional shelter, but can also be a messenger to visitors through M-POD (Movie POD).
