Congratulations to my sister Daisy Magalit Rodriguez, current president of the UPAA in
America, for her successful term. The organization was awarded the Most Distinguished
Service Award by the UP Alumni Association in Diliman under her watch. That speaks vol-
umes! We are so proud of you.

It was my education as a Geology student at UP that in-
stilled in me the love of nature, passion for adventure,

photography and travel, and curiosity for things. Those

lessons will stay with me for the rest of my life.
