I am pleased to send warmest greetings to all in attendance to celebrate the 40 anniversary

and 21 general reunion and convention of the University of the Philippines Alumni Association
in America Inc.(UPAAA, Inc.). Due to the pandemic, UPAAA Inc., is holding its first virtual
st
21 general reunion and convention with UPAA Nevada as co-host.
It is indeed an honor to greet and welcome President Danilo Concepcion, of the University of
the Philippines, as he inducts the incoming officers of the UPAAA Inc. 2022-2023.
We also welcome the Vice President Leni Robredo of the Philippines as the guest speaker.

UPAAA Inc. has been in existence since 1981, and through the years, alumni have gathered
each reunion years to celebrate, renew ties and reminisce the good times of their college life.
Hopefully, our reunion will foster and rekindle the spirit of loyalty to our Alma Mater and
uphold its tradition of leadership, excellence, honor and unity among the UP alumni in the
United States and the world.

It gives me pleasure to congratulate the 2021 GRC Chair Ethel Rubio and Dorothy Tome co-
chair for their strength, courage and determination to make the convention very successful.
