About UPAAA, Inc.


               The University of the Philippines Alumni Association in America is a duly registered 501 (C)(3)
               non-profit organization founded in 1981 by a group of graduates of the University of the
               Philippines in New Jersey led by Dr. Arsenio Talingdan.  Its primary aim is to unite UP alumni
               associations in America and to work for the preservation of the UP System as the national

               center for academic excellence, freedom, and service.

               Vision. We envision a strong broad-based organization of alumni of the University of the
               Philippines in the service and support of the Alma Mater, the UP Alumni, the UP System, and
               the community in pursuit of common goals.


               Mission. Our mission is to engage alumni of the University of the Philippines to work together
               on educational, charitable, cultural, and other meaningful projects that benefit alumni, the UP
               System, and the community in pursuit of our common goals, drawing on our individual and
               collective resources and of those in the community where we live.

               About UPAA-Nevada


               The University of the Philippines Alumni Association of Nevada (UPAAN) is a non-profit,

               nonpartisan, and non-sectarian organization aimed to:

                      Provide help and resources to the University of the Philippines in support of its mission
                       as a premier academic institution;
                      Provide leadership in fostering a bond of unity, fellowship, and collaboration among
                       alumni and organizations to achieve common goals; promote the development and
                       advancement of intellectual, cultural, social and civic projects that benefit the University

                       of the Philippines and the community; and
                      Generate funds to support its charitable, educational and cultural activities under

                       Internal Revenue Service guidelines on tax-exempt organization.
