is the only disinfectant manufacturer with an own wipe production. Thus, the company has develo- ped into a recognized international specialist.The company produces around 5,700 tons of disinfec- tants for skin, hands, instruments and surfaces. The products are exported to over 68 countries and make Dr. Schumacher GmbH a recognized interna- tional specialist.
Intensive research and development
By constant research and development we beca- me one of the most important German manufactu- rers for aldehyde-free instrument disinfectants.
At the beginning of the 80s we introduced one of the irst highly efective surface disinfectants free from aldehydes and phenols. Shortly afterwards the irst aldehyde-free and phenol-free instrument disinfectant with extensive eicacy against tuber- culosis bacteria complying with the DGHM guidelines (DGHM = German Association for Hygi- ene and Microbiology) followed.
We also gave a clear sign with the following gene- ration of instrument disinfectants: we proved that it is possible to reduce the amount of active sub- stances and still keep the exposure times short wi- thout using aldehydes and in spite of tightened VAH/DGHM guidelines.
Consequent quality policy
Our aim is to ofer products that are produced according to the latest technological knowledge and standards to achieve a high degree of conveni- ence and safety for users. As a manufacturer of drugs, medical devices, biocides and cosmetic pro- ducts we work according to GMP guidelines, ISO 9001/EN 13485 as well as cosmetic GMP guidelines. Our production processes have been audited and certiied by well-known manufacturers.
