28 Kacey Musgrave Fears Alien Abduction

Kacey Musgraves is a busy young woman,
currently doing the late night circuit to promote
her upcoming new album, Pageant Material,
and doing interviews everywhere. She also just
dropped her latest, newest video for her current
single, "Biscuits." And in one email interview,
she admitted that she's seen a few UFOs and is
scared to death of alien abuction -- that she,
herself, will be abducted by aliens.
Rolling Stone Country reported June 12
that Kacey Musgraves, the Nashville country
singing darling who won a Grammy for her
debut album Same Trailer Different Park,
debuted a new song, "Family Is Family," from
her new album on NBC's Late Night With Seth
Meyers Wednesday (actually -- Thursday
morning). Using traditional cues (as has become
her claim to fame; read: Miranda Lambert's
"Mama's Broken Heart," which she co-wrote)
and a pithy sense of humor, she performed a
song set in Rural, USA. Accompanied by a
percussionist spoons player (yes, he actually
kept rhythm with a set of spoons), she
talked/sang about her hard-drinking, sometimes
embarrassing, often contentious "family,"
noting "you might look just like 'em but you
don't have to like 'em -- but you love 'em."
That new music debut was preceded by
the release of her new music video for the first
single, "Biscuits," from the new album which
dropped earlier on Wednesday. The video
features Musgraves in a bandana dress churning
butter and sharing video time with a bunch of
chickens and a fiddle-playing muppet. She told
Rolling Stone Country in an interview that the
video was comparative to "'Hee Haw' meets
'Pee-wee's Playhouse' meets Wes Anderson."
Still, her new music simply shows that
she's not your mama's female country singer.
That she's a bit different than the regular
Nashville songstress of yore is no secret. She
collaborated on "Follow Your Arrow" with
Brandy Clark and Shane McAnally, a song that
won Song of the Year at the 2014 Country
Music Association Awards but was met with
considerable criticism because of its seeming
hedonistic lyrics that some took as open
endorsement of gays (it was) and an attack on
Christians (only the judgmental). And she
recently presented a list of things that people
might not know about her to Us magazine, a list
that displays the 26-year-old singer as someone
with eccentric side.
In the list of "25 Things You Don't
Know About Me," Kacey Musgraves confided
that she was a hot tea drinker (sacrilege in the
South), once saved a mouse from Nashville
traffic, likes riding horses and eating spicy food,
once was a belly dancer, went on a bigfoot hunt
one time, and has a fear of being abducted by
aliens -- the kind that travel in UFOs. She also
admitted to seeing several UFOs as well.
In fact, according to Open Minds TV,
she admitted on Twitter in 2012 and 2013 to
having made two UFO sightings. In an
interview with People magazine in March, she
went into further detail.
According to Musgraves, she's had two
UFO sightings, the first being in Mexico and in
company of a group of people on a beach who
all saw a glowing orb in the sky. The second,
she said, was in Nashville, where she saw two
"giant balls of fire" hovering over a
neighborhood.
Still, eccentric or not, the
singer/songwriter appears to be on a musical
roll. And if she continues to produce well-
written, quirky, catchy, meaningful, country
songs (and her new music looks to be along
those lines), there's no reason to believe she
won't stay on a roll.

sophomore set of songs, is scheduled for a June

Trail caught Flying Silently

UFO (Unidentified Flying Objects) and aliens
may or may not exist but reports on them keep
coming in with people from around the world
claiming to have seen strange things in the skies as clouds, because seeing a triangle cloud move
and some even being caught camera. Now, a
new report has claimed that a photographer
caught a triangular strange object with dark blue you. It lowers the fright levels," wrote Waring
trail flying over Toowoomba region, Australia,
on camera.
Greg Young, an employee of FieldQuip,
was capturing the beauty of sunrise with his
iPhone at 6.30am Friday but he noticed a
strange object when he zoomed the picture,
reported The Chronicle. He then saw a
triangular object with a dark blue trail flying
through the clouds.
"It was all a bit weird because a few
moments earlier me and my co-worker saw
some bright flashing lights from the East and we
couldn't work out what they were," Young was
quoted as saying by The Chronicle.
"Then we saw this thing and it just made for a
really odd morning. I don't believe in aliens or
anything like that but it definitely looked like
something."
FieldQuip operations manager Darren
Mauger also said that he was baffled by the
strange object though he didn't believe in UFO
and aliens.
"I completely disbelieve in aliens and
UFOs but I did find it strange," said Mauger.
"Greg came in to show me the photo and by the
time I went back outside it was gone. He said it
wasn't travelling very fast and was flying
silently but it had disappeared within a minute."
Meanwhile, Scott C. Waring, editor of UFO
Sightings Daily, has claimed while commenting
on the latest sighting in Toowoomba, Australia,
that UFOs usually "disguise themselves as
clouds."
"You have heard me say it a hundred
times, but its because there are so many new
people who have not heard me say it
before...UFOs often try to disguise themselves
as fast or faster than a fighter jet is less startling
than seeing a metallic craft with windows above
on UFO Sightings Daily.
"Not that all species care about our
feelings. Some just don't and will fly uncloaked
and close up taking their sweet time doing
whatever they are doing. It differs from species
to species. 56 space faring species on and near
Earth known to exist says USAF to employees
at Area S4. Thats only a few of them." []
