Dear Royalists and Thomians,

It is gives us great pleasure to be a part of an organising committee
that was entrusted to plan and execute the programme for the
15th Encounter of the “Battle of the Blues in UAE”.

The success of the ongoing Royal-Thomian series in the UAE
is largely due to the enthusiasm of the Old Royalists and Thomians
in the UAE. Both teams have always displayed a high standard of
cricket and rugby which have included players who have represented
their school in the Royal-Thomian encounters in Colombo and
showcasing the hidden talents of those who never represented their
school in the respective games.

In addition to the main events...1st Eleven, 2nd Eleven and Veterans
Cricket matches, we have invited the Good Shepherd Convent
Cricket team (Lanka Lions Cricket Tournament winners) to play
against a Combined Royal-Thomian Ladies Team.

Games for the children have also been organised and “Spot
Competitions’ will be conducted throught the afternoon giving an
opportunity for everyone to go home with a prize. The usual
Lucky Draw too has some valuable prizes to be won.

We wish all participants, well-wishes and families joining us
in this memorable event, an enjoyable day at the Sharjah
Wanderers Grounds.
