A. Introduction

the results of research, analysis, or evaluation.

Report text has several differences that differentiate it from other
types of text. Here are some significant differences:

1. Purpose: Report text has the specific purpose of providing detailed

and accurate information about an object, based on scientific data. In
contrast, other types of text such as descriptive text have the aim of
describing an object specifically and subjectively, based on the author's
opinion.
2. Structure: Report text has a more systematic and organized
structure, with parts that are clear and easy to understand. This

structure usually consists of a general classification and description. In
contrast, other types of text such as narrative text have a freer structure
and are not specifically structured.
3. Content: Report text contains information based on scientific facts
and valid data, while other types of text such as descriptive text can
