Special focus is being done in counseling the staff on:

i. Crew should not deviate from their driving duties.
ii. They should follow Signal and only signal aspect and not to presume the
signals.
iii. They should always keep their train well under control according to the
signal aspect.
iv. ALP to apply emergency brakes without hesitation, in case LP is not
attentive or active in controlling the train according to the signal aspects and
when approaching Danger.

Steps taken to combat COVID-19:

At Crew lobbies and Running rooms:

i. As per the instructions from HQr Freight trains, Shramik specials and
Employees special trains had been operated to meet the transportation of
goods and Employees/Shramik.

ii. All the instructions issued timely from HQrs have been conveyed to all the
Running staff in regard to the booking of trains, procedure to be followed
while reporting Sign ON duty and Sign Off duty is strictly followed.

iii. All the Crew lobbies of the division are supplied with sanitation materials and
being sanitized often to keep the crew lobby premises clean and tidy as
precautionary measure.

iv. All the Running Rooms of the division are supplied with sanitation materials.
Sanitization done frequently during crew changing time and necessary
precautions are being taken and ensured as instructed timely by the HQrs.

v. Survey of running staff/relatives of the staff returned from foreign tour has
been conducted and the data submitted timely to the nodal officer.

vi. Sanitization of all the locomotives during crew changing is being ensured at
KCG, NZB and GWD as a precautionary measure.

vii. Sanitation materials like liquids, hand wash solution/soaps, face masks
were made available at crew lobbies and supplied to the crews to use as
precautionary measure.

viii. Refresher courses in Electrical, Diesel Traction and G&SR is being
attended online by Running staff.
