1. Freight:

Freight Revenue till the end of Feb-21
Stood at Rs. 163.91 crores as against
120.12 crores during corresponding
period of last year with an increase of
36%. Division has surpassed previous
year 2019-20 freight revenue of Rs.
131.15 Crores by the end of Dec-2020.

For the first time ever, Division has
transported Turmeric from NZB to BEN
(Benapol/ Bangladesh) on 21.06.2020 in
42 BCN wagons with 2,474 tonnes
and earnings of Rs. 37,49,922/- was
realized.

Till the end of Feb-21, Division has
loaded 4 Rakes of Turmeric to BEN with
8964 Tonnes and realized Revenue of
Rs. 1.36 Crores.

For the first time, a total of 45 BOXN
wagons with an weight of 2979 tonnes
of Iron Ore fines have been loaded and
transported by rail from VDI railway
station in KRNT/HYB Divn. to MSCI,
th
Salem in Tamil Nadu on 4 July 2020.

First ever loading of Iron ore fines has
been done on 12.12.2020 from
VDI/KRNT, AP to Tata Metaliks Ltd.
(TMGP) of Kharagpur Divn./SER.
